I know these platforms well.

I've worked with all of the major synagogue management platforms for many years. Whether you're settled on one, struggling with the one you have, or weighing a change, I can help.

The platforms I work with

Easyshul

Extensive hands-on implementation experience

A cloud-based platform covering accounting, fundraising, yahrzeits, events, education, and pastoral care, with flat-rate pricing. A good fit for congregations that want one predictable monthly cost and don't have staff to spare for a long implementation.

ShulCloud

Worked at ShulCloud as main trainer and financial expert, and built its training protocols

The most widely used synagogue management platform, and the one I know most deeply. Strong for congregations that need a full membership, billing, and portal system and have the staff capacity to run it properly. Dedicated ShulCloud page.

ShulWise

Certified ShulWise consultant

One of the first AI-native synagogue platforms, built from the ground up for the AI era rather than layered on twenty-year-old foundations. I'm a certified ShulWise consultant, and I can help you decide whether it's the right fit for your congregation.

Whatever you're on now

Including the ones nobody sells anymore

Some congregations are still running something that made sense in 2004, or a spreadsheet-and-QuickBooks arrangement held together by one person. Before recommending a move, I'd rather understand what you have and whether replacing it is genuinely the answer.

"Joseph's knowledge of ShulCloud (and QuickBooks) has far exceeded that of others I have previously worked with. What I found especially impressive was that he was willing and able to listen to our requests and subsequently provided services tailored to our needs, whether it was revamping our yahrzeit system or designing ShulCloud forms for us."

Where I stand

I've been in this market for many years, and I have history with all of these platforms and others, including Chaverware and Rakefet. I worked for ShulCloud, I implemented Easyshul for some of its earliest customers, and I'm a certified ShulWise consultant. I'd rather you know that from the first conversation than discover it later.

It also happens to be the reason the advice is worth something. I'm not reading feature comparisons — I've configured these systems, cleaned up after them, and sat with the staff who have to use them at eight in the morning during renewal season. When the right answer for your congregation is a different platform, that's what I'll tell you.

Every platform has things it can't do. When yours hits one, I'll say so plainly, and tell you whether there's a workaround that holds up or whether it's a reason to look elsewhere.

Thinking about a change, or making the most of what you have?

A short call is usually enough to tell whether the problem is the platform, the setup, or the process.
